New mum

5 weeks gone and my new son is amazing! When I found out I was pregnant I was so scared and didn't know what to do or think. After a while it sunk in and I got used to the fact I had this little person inside me making himself comfortable. By week 30 that's definitely what he was doing. I won't go into details about labour and pain relief etc because that's boring, but when he was finally here it was so wonderful! All I could find myself saying was; "hello baby" over and over again. He just looked up at me with his big (at the time) blue eyes, which are now turning brown! This is where Henry's genes have dominated. Hopefully over the years I'll see something of me in George. After 5 weeks he is doing really well and getting on amazingly well. Updates to come over the next few weeks!

Taking back my blog on twitter!

Looking back through my past blogs...I mention how I don't get twitter and why people feel the need to post up random statuses about things others don't need to know. I guess you can say I'm doing that right here! Ooppss! I hate to admit it but I am a big fan of twitter now and even have the app on my phone. Who would have thought after "hating it" some things do change! Follow me...Claire_tonna

Cornwall and proving to be a pet hate

Being in Cornwall for 5 years now, it's started to irritate me more and more...the people, the place and just generally the way it makes me lazy!
Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely place...when the sun is shining and it's hot, but most days when it's raining, cold and very windy it does prove to be a damn right horrible place.
I've decided it'll be a good idea for me to go back to Sussex and have the fast moving way of life back into my system...I think it'll do me good.
Cornwall turns you from fast motivated and always wanting to do things to wanting to 'chill on the beach' for days on end, and not seem to have a care in the world. Sorry I can't work like that anymore...time to grow up I think.
So at the end of this month, I will be slowly packing up my Cornish way of life and taking it back to Sussex with me for a new start with my boyfriend.
See ya Kernow!
